Dog survives eating two pounds of onion rings, wins prize
Sat Oct 19, 2013
I'm happy the dog survived, but I'm curious what brand of onion rings they were. I've tried some and they seem to be more breading and filler than minced onion (and onion rings are supposed to have whole onion rings and not be mass produced uniform rings).
Alive or dead, Google Doodle honors Schrödinger's cat

To those who don't know, what the thought experiment really means is that until someone/something checks on the final state of a particle, its final state will not be determined. It will be in all possible states until it is "seen"* at which point it will be in one of those states. In other words, s …
GOP tries to keep pressure on IRS controversy
Thu Jul 18, 2013
Reagan wasn't brought up on charges because by then the cons were convinced the law applied to them because of God and 'Merica.
In train's quiet car, few have guts to shush loudmouths
Fri Jun 7, 2013
The Chicago Metra rails have had quiet cards for a few years and I love them. Usually if someone talks too loud people have no trouble reminding them that it's a quiet car (I also suggest they take their conversations outside). Most people are pretty good about not being noisy. I once saw some …

Jeff, gays aren't looking for special rights. Equal rights will satisfy them. Such as the same right the male employees have not to be fired for going against someone's opinion. And that's exactly what religious doctorine is, an opinion. Yet wrap it up in God and you have people who demand it be giv …
Chef to the stars Miki Nozawa dies following confrontation over unpaid bill
Fri May 17, 2013
Conservatives want to think that guns will solve all their problems. If the chef had a gun he probably would have been shot or beaten to death before he had time to use it
IRS watchdog: Senior official knew in 2011 that Tea Party groups were targeted
Sun May 12, 2013
Being a part of the teabaggers means by definition they are a primary a political focus group. The IRS is right to look closely at them. The cons shouldn't whine about it considering how churches who violate their tax-exempt status can't be prosecuted until the GOP "rewrites" the rules.
IRS apologizes for targeting conservative groups
Fri May 10, 2013
Want some cheese to go with that whine? Let's ignore the fact that those con groups were violating the law. Let's also ignore how liberal groups were not only targeted to have their status revoked but how law enforcement sent in undercover operatives to stir up trouble. IOKIYAR strikes again
At least 20 dead, hundreds hurt as Islamists demand religious laws in Bangladesh
Mon May 6, 2013
Wrong sax, the government let the preacher burn his book and christians have been threatening and killing people to get what they want. Check the news. There are still christians murdering and threating homosexuals and non-christians and trying to pass laws that give them special rights at the cost …
